He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary; his parents, Ray House and Jennie House; and his sisters, Mary Stark and Carol Voelliger.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Padeskie; his children, Anne, Kathy, Jim Afdahl and Dan Kvinge; his grandchildren, Andy, Amy Afdahl, Michael, Amanda Afdahl, Martha, Christopher Thomas, John, Holly Kvinge, David, Andrea Afdahl and Anne Kvinge; and his great grandchildren, Erik, Jack, Mae, James, Evangeline, Isabella, William, Clara, Henry, Myra, Alden, Rosalind, Oscar and Ari.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcomed to Faith Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or Waverly Gardens.
