She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Scheetz and Mildred Scheetz (Furhmeister). She is survived by: her husband Richard (Dick); her children, Dan Collins (Valeria), Julie Newell (Dan), Jennifer Collins, Doug Collins, Marcy Mendenhall (Matt) and Jeff Collins; her grandchildren, Madeline, Jackson, Mallory, Libby, Gus, Arden, Declan and Faolan; and her brothers, Allen Scheetz and Rick Knoke.
Karen Collins of Eldridge, died February 12, 2020, at home surrounded by family, after a fight with Alzheimer's.
