She was predeceased by: her sister Delores. She is survived by: her husband Max; her children, Emily Gardyasz (Joe), Clayton Birtell (Sara), Amy Birtell (Dave Assman), Jenny and Berry; her grandchildren, Porter, Britney, Sawyer, Abby, Grace, Hannah, Nathan, Katherine, Eva, Noah, Naomi, Elijah, Parker, Katie, Sydney and Jonathan; and her sister Suzen Fanson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Bettendorf, Iowa.
