She was predeceased by: her parents, Milroy Gast and Dorothy Gast (Stichter); her husband Larry Erling; her sister Beverly (Lowell "Butch" Bowman); her brothers-in-law, George Sterk and Hal (Erma Hoy); her parents-in-law, Ray and Pearl Erling; and her nephews, Kevin and Kreg Bowman.

She is survived by: her pet Daisy; her children, Christine Erling and Todd Erling (Terri); her grandsons, Jesse Erling of Edina, MN and JoBeth Erling (Nathan Chavez) of Tucson, AZ; her sister Pat Sterk; and her sister-in-law Shirley Mackin of Mesa, AZ.
