With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry L. Vollbeer of Eldridge, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vollbeer and Fern Vollbeer (Holst); and his stepfather Lourde Skelley. He is survived by: his wife Diana McCoy; his sons, Jake Vollbeer (Beth), Troy Vollbeer (Kari Jewell), Maysville, Scott Vollbeer (Kristina) and Eldridge; his grandchildren, Dylan, Addison, Emily, Andrew, James and Ella; his brother Fred Vollbeer (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Bill McCoy, Larry McCoy, Nell Burt and Donna Walmsley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Stead Family Children's Hospital at the University of Iowa, St. Ann's Catholic Church or the North Scott Educational Foundation.
