McGimpsey of Eldridge, Iowa, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGimpsey and Ethel McGimpsey (Richardson); his stepfather Joe Cole; and his siblings, Dorothy Claeys and Gerald McGimpsey.

He is survived by: his wife Deloris "Dee" of Eldridge; his daughters, Jennifer McGimpsey of Omaha and Amiee McGimpsey of Washington, D. C.; and his siblings, Pam Rolens of Branson, Missouri and Dennis McGimpsey of Davenport.
