Gloria Hamann Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Hamann of Eldridge, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold "Shorty" Schukar and Valborg "Bobbie" Schukar (Jensen); her former husband Lawrence Hamann; her children, Michael Hamann, Jamie Hamann and Dawn Schneckloth; her grandchildren, Dane Schneckloth and Jarin Satterly; and her sisters, Doreen Orr and Karen "Tinker" Brus.

She is survived by: her children, JoDee Sorgenfrey (Scott Petersen) of Durant, Karen Price (Stan) of Durant, Merri Leigh (David) of Long Grove, Iowa, Jay Hamann (Brenda) of Eldridge, Iowa, Andrew Hamann (Wendy) of Eldridge, Iowa, Wade Hamann (Linda) of Eldridge, Iowa and Ward Hamann (Carol) of Eldridge, Iowa. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren.
