He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret; his children, Kathleen Jones of Illinois, Martin Claeys of Indiana, Allen Claeys (Sue) of Eldridge, Dale Claeys (Kim) of Florida, Maurice Roger Claeys of Texas and Jennifer Claeys of Georgia; his brother Walter Thomas Claeys; his son-in-law Merle Jones; and also, Johnnie Carlin (Karey) of DeWitt, Nancy Hughes (Mark) of DeWitt and Julie Walker (Keith) of DeWitt. He was also cherished by his 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and Margaret's 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Stephanie) Claeys of Long Grove and a sister-in-law.
