She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benson and Dorothy Benson (Jelliffe); and her siblings, LuLu Belle Sweeney, Gerald, Gene, Marlin, Warren, John, Malvern "Mel" and Marion Benson.

She is survived by: her brothers, Claire Benson of Wisconsin and Jim Benson of Minnesota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Madison, WI.
