He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda Jurgens; and his sister Mardell Byrne (Leo). He is survived by: his parents, Johannes Jurgens and Minnie Jurgens (Leese); his wife Ruth Jurgens of Eldridge; his son Steve Jurgens (Cheryl) of Long Grove, Iowa; his grandchildren, Lana Tucker (Kurt) of Iowa City and Jay Jurgens (Sarah) of Coralville, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Ellis.
