She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Henry and Dora Lage (Scheel); her husband Robert Beert; her daughter Trudy Shockey; and her siblings, Betty Lynch (Donald), Shirley DeWulf (Donald), Mary Weaver (Cecil) and Robert Lage (Marlene).
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hoffmann (Michael) of Eldridge, Robin Beert (Trudy), Long Grove, Sandra Powell (Rik) and Marion; her son-in-law Bill Shockey; and her grandchildren, Scott Hoffmann (Jenny), Dana Virden (Dave), Todd Sleep (Angela), Joseph Sleep (Alisa), Stephanie Ganzer (Kyle), Leslie Hildebrant (Billy), Brock Beert, Bryant Ferris (Jenna Webb) and Luke Ferris (Shandy).
