It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis L. Schmidt of Eldridge, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Schmidt and Marilyn Schmidt; and his wife Sally Rae Henricksen. He is survived by: his former wife Beverley Woodsmall; his sons, Tyler Schmidt (Angie) and Tom Schmidt (Tiffany); his stepson Scott Somers (Chris); and his grandchildren, Hunter (Kirstin), Logan, Teagan, Colton and Torrin.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Eldridge VFW.
