He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Harger and Genevieve Harger (Ramsey); his siblings, Larry Roberts and Sondra Fleagle; his nephew Mark Fleagle; his brothers-in-law, Bud Fleagle, Brian Oehlert and Mike Vaughn; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Mabel Oehlert.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Oehlert of Eldridge; his daughter Stacee Sledge (Michael); his grandchildren, Xander of Bellingham, WA and Clare of Bellingham, WA; his brother Rod Harger (Marilyn) of Osceola, IA; his siblings-in-law, Marge Roberts of Torrington, WY, Emily Miller (Jeff) of Tiffin, IA, E'Lynne Stone (Lonnie) of Woodburn, IA, Marjorie Vaughn of Friendswood, TX, Mary Oehlert of Woodburn, IA, Marty Oehlert (Becky) of Osceola, IA and Swede Oehlert (Terri) of Galesburg, IL; and his close friends, Ed McManus of Urbandale, IA and Harold Ross of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided later.
