She was predeceased by: her parents, Catalina Benjamín Aponte and Miguel Colón Meléndez; and her sister Nidia Carmen. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Donald C. Hawley; her children, Catalina Paar (Mike) of Eldridge, Carlos Hawley (Lourdes) of Eldridge, Fargo of Eldridge, Michael Hawley (Karla Thies) of Eldridge and John Hawley (Kim) of Eldridge; and her grandchildren, Michael Paar (Robin), John David Paar (Jessica Willette), Mark Matthew Paar (Callie), Mary Jo Paar (Shane Miller), Teresa Paar, Carlos Hawley (Sheena), Olivia Farrell (David), Sam Hawley, Sofía Hawley, Alexandria Hawley and Victoria Hawley.
