He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Kay and Elsie Kay (Stender); and his sister Judy Adams. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Kinner; his children, Brian Kay (Amy) of Clive and Melissa Parker (Patrick) of Clinton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Allison, Kathleen Lyddon, Kathryn, Jacob and Emily Parker; his brother Richard Kay of Seattle; and his niece Jennifer Adams of Austin, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eldridge United Methodist Church or the Eldridge Volunteer Fire Department.
