She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Saltzman and Vera Saltzman (Turner); her husband John Starr; her brothers-in-law, George (Alice) and John Pearson; and her sister Jeannette of Arizona.
She is survived by: her children, John Robert "Bob", Valerie Meeker (David) of Eldora and George (Rosie) of Iowa City; her grandson Aaron Ingrassia of Eldora; her sister Dorothy Pearson; and also Collin Ingrassia of Eldora.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Virginia's name to her family which will be later designated elsewhere.
