He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Carl and Helen Chloe Rathe (Whitscheu); his wife Beth Rathe of Eldora; his son Thad Rathe (Jess) of Erie; his grandchildren, Tim and Will Rathe; his brothers-in-law, Joe Shore of Eldora and Randall Shore of Eldora; and his siblings, Harry Rathe (Dorothy), Richard Rathe (Pauline), Esther Michaelson (Robert), Dorothy Dines (John), Alice Rathe and Lorraine.
