She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Doss and Henrietta Doss; her husband Ernest Barz; her children, Melvin, Lois, Diane and Bruce; her grandchildren, Shane, Elsie Barz, Darrin (Heather), Andrew, Christine Eige, Brett Clark (Bobbie), Rachel Meeks (Marcus), Kate Henderson (Jesse), Amy Compton, Shannon Sanden (John) and Megan Barz; and her sister Pauline.
