We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2019, at the age of 84, Maurice Cakerice (Eldora, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John I. Cakerice and Ferne Cakerice (Fox); his wife Marilyn Mitchell; his children, Teresa Slagle (Steve) of Toledo, Lyndon Cakerice (Christina) of Plano and Julie Smith of Greenwood, Indiana; his grandsons, Adam, Robert, John and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Rhett and Jayde; and his brother Dwayne Cakerice of Eldora. He was also cherished by thirteen nieces and nephews.

“I worked with Maurice many years when he worked for Dayco in Eldora, IA. He worked with my father and then I until Dayco was absorbed by Parker. He was a kind fair man who had a lot to do with our finishing shops success. The volume we did with Maurice and Dayco has never been surpassed to this day.
