It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marianne Elizabeth Gatton of Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Spellerberg and Anna C Spellerberg (Eichholz); and her siblings, Jerome, William Spellerberg, Irene Manikowski and Bette Brand.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hall (Jeff) of Kansas City, Mary Jo Plantan (Jim) of Bloomington and David Gatton (Cheri) of Parma, Idaho.; her grandchildren, Kristine Haddad (Josh), Joshua Eklund, Nick Plantan (Karla), Mike Plantan (Lauren), Mathew Gatton (Emily) and Katie McClusky (Lloyd); and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Sam, Jackson, Evelyn, Elly, Zoe, Bennett, Harrison, Avery and Archer.
