He was predeceased by: his parents, James DeNeui and Gertrude DeNeui (Meyer); his wife Evelyn Aukes; his son Lon DeNeui; his son-in-law Tony Harris; and his siblings, Stella Geerdes and Milton DeNeui.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Harris of Ankeny and Susan Mayer (Stephen) of Ankeny; his daughter-in-law Paula DeNeui of Bonney Lake, WA; and his cousins, Ivan and Harold Jaspers. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
