He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Pagel and Bernice Pagel (Haney); his son Rick; his grandson Joshua; and his sister Joan Klien.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Joan Saylor; and his children, Harold Pagel (Pam) of Eldora, Linda Dennis (Dave) of Iowa Falls, Sue Colvin (Brent) of Eldora and James William Pagel Jr. (Joyce Larson) of Liscomb. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to a cause in honor of Jim at a later date.
