We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James Kenneth Collins of Eldora, Iowa, born in Lucerne, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Doris Elizabeth Collins (Smith); his wife Vi Collins; his children, Deb Collins and Rick Collins; and his brother Gary Collins.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Pam Collins-Schaller (Steve) of Johnston; his sister-in-law Patricia Brock of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Jim Collins (Tonya), Jamie Balvanz (Shannon), Jesse Collins (Jen) and Missie Lafrenz (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Brock, Riley, Chase, Tate, Blakely, Kendrick and Bearett.

The family would encourage donations in lieu of flowers to the following: Wounded Warriors, American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association.
