He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen Tystahl; his parents, Kenneth Cakerice and Carrie Cakerice; his brother Jay Cakerice; his son-in-law Kendall Johnson; his grandsons, Richey Johnson and Tommy Sweeney Dunsizer; his sister-in-law Joan Tystahl; and also, Vern and Marie Tystahl.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Sweeney; his children, Rochelle Gilman (Cary), Rachael Johnson, Alan Cakerice (Sarah), Kelly Sweeney, Tracy Sweeney, Kathleen Sweeney and John Sweeney; his brother Roy Cakerice (Myrna); his brother-in-law Ron Tystahl; his grandchildren, Ethan Gilman (Kathleen), Leah Reever (William), Ryan Johnson, Alan Johnson, Trent Cakerice, Elias Cakerice, Jordan Cakerice and Quinn Pitcher; and his great grandchildren, Chripp Gilman and Rorik Reever.
Memorials may be given to the Puppy Jake Foundation.
