Hester Elerding Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hester Elerding of Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hester Elerding to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elva Morey (Hall) and Edwin Morey; her grandmother Hall; her former husband Earl Manatt; her daughter Karen; her husband Everett Elerding; her stepchildren, Lynn and John; her daughter Jane of Iowa; her son-in-law Gerry Wall of California; her nieces and nephews, Steve Morey of Minneapolis, Pam Marks of New Hampshire, Dave and Tam Elerding of Iowa Falls; her daughter Jill Grego of Eldora; her granddaughters, Chelsea Donaldson of Eldora and Ashley Grego of Ames; and her great grandchild Noella Donaldson.

Hester did not make quite as grand an entrance and exit as Mark Twain, but she came into the world in a global pandemic and she left the world in a global pandemic, neither of which affected her good health.
