It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Rinnels of Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Downward and Agnes Downward; her stepfather William Frickson; her stepsiblings, Francis (Pam Frickson), Billy Frickson, Butch Wroblewski, Joy Mooney and Jean Whittenburg; and her close friend Eudora Ehert.
She is survived by: her former husband Gary Edward Rinnels; her daughters, Jo (Harvin Rust) of Grundy Center, Mel (Marty Horstmeyer) of Loveland and Janice Rinnels of Ackley, Iowa; her grandchildren, Meagan (Mitch Murray) of Lawler, Michael (Danielle Lindaman) of Greene, Mason (Alicia Lindaman) of Ackley, Jennifer (Peter Franklin) of Columbia, Rachel Horstmeyer of St. Louis, Joel (Amanda Rust) of Holland and Jen Rust of Cedar Falls, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Alex Murray and Everlee Fay Lindaman; her sisters-in-law, Zelma Frickson and Andi Wroblewski; her nephew Robert (Amy Frickson); and her close friend Sally Fish of Waterloo, Iowa..
