It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty McDowell of Eldora, Iowa, born in Eastland, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Raymond Arthur McDowell; her children, Mark McDowell of Eldora and Margaret Annette of Littleton, CO; and her sister Helen Billings of Chicago.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church in Eldora.
