He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hemm and Florence Hootman Hemm; his wife P. Annie Hemm; his siblings, Kenneth, Carol and Bonnie; and his pet Keno.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Keasling; his daughters, Holly Snyder (David) of Huntsville, MO and Sherri Beattie (Ray) of Ottumwa, IA; his grandchildren, Nicole Sanders (Travis), Ben Snyder (Grace), Hannah Snyder, Tori Kenel (D. J.), Kyle LaRue (Shannon), Dylan Beattie, Amy Beattie (Brandon Caldwell) and Emilee Beattie; and his brother David "Toad" Hemm. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Memorial contributions in Richard's honor may be directed to the Eldon Depot Museum or to the Eldon New Hope Masonic Lodge #480.
