She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Heywood and Marjorie Bransom Heywood; and her husband Jack Brain. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Chantelle Grooms (Jeremiah) of Ottumwa, IA and Heather Brain of Jefferson, CO; her grandchildren, Ashley, Savannah, Jasey, Jaiden, Ryele, Kaylor, Damian, Tori and Daniel; her sister Geraldine Heywood of Berthoud, CO; her niece Tiffany Heywood; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda, Allison, Emily, Aspen, Wren, Jonathon and Hawk; and her friend Barb Davis.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Living Hope Bible Church (201 W Walnut St, Eldon, IA 52554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Pat's honor may be directed to the Cardinal Elementary for children's school supplies.
