He was predeceased by: his father Eldon Pelzer; his brothers-in-law, Carl Nielson, Kelly Curtis and Kevin Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Maurice and Mary Rabe.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Pelzer; his wife Sherry Pelzer of Griswold, IA; his children, Matthew Pelzer of Audubon, IA and Michelle Spunaugle (Jared) of Villisca, IA; his siblings, Doug Pelzer, Mark Pelzer (Ellen) and June Karr (Brian); his siblings-in-law, Jim, Jan Gaines, Janet Nielsen and Diane Curtis; his aunt Betty Lantz; and his uncle Dennis Pelzer (Jane). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mike's name.
