He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Spurgeon and Marcelline Spurgeon; his wife Judy Reaves; his former wife Betty Rysdam; his children, Kippen Richards (Adam) of Riverside, Jerry of Eldon and Matt (Melissa) of Eldon; his close friend Willie Petersheim (Martha); his grandchildren, Kaitie Richards, Ana, Cordell, Emma and Gage Spurgeon; his great grandchild Amariyon Starks; the mother of his children Judy; his son Dickie; and his siblings, James Spurgeon (Judy) and Lola Fortner (Ab).
