She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Martin and Ida Lorraine Nielsen (Allshouse); her sisters, Wanda Lastovka and Iona Nielsen; her daughters, Rita King and Cathy Clarke; and her son-in-law Tom Lichty.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Paul Parizek; her children, Randall Parizek (Lesa) of Elberon, Rachel Parizek of Waterloo and Christy Lichty of Waterloo; and her sons-in-law, Gordy Clarke of Hudson and William King of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
