He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Sauer and Mae Sauer (Dufresne). He is survived by: his former wife Linda Kirkwood; his wife Patricia Sauer (Hlas) of Elberon; his daughter Lisa Sauer of Warwick, RI; and his siblings, Willough Strauss of Warwick, RI and William Sauer.
