With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Mary Benda of Elberon, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Husak and Mary Husak (Zmolek); her husband Joe Benda; and her siblings, Charles, Paul, John, Emil, William, Adolph and Phyllis (Philomena).
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Albright (Leonard) of Tama; her granddaughters, Rachelle Albright, Tamra Albright (Jay Johnson) and Kim Albright (Ben Welsch); her great grandchildren, Levi Williams (Jenna Teberg), Lexi Hicks (Austin), Sarah Beauregard (Luke Severson), Kenna Williams, Tyler Ungs, Caden Ungs and Declan Welsch; her great great grandchildren, Addison and Isla; her brother Peter Husak (Marilyn) of North Liberty; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Husak of Toledo and Marge Husak of Grinnell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and friends.
