It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerald L. Nekola of Elberon, Iowa, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nekola and June Nekola (Dolash); and his former wife Kathy Nekola. He is survived by: his wife Pat Carroll of Elberon; his daughter Jodi Hacker (Matt) of Atkins; his grandchildren, Joel, Grant and Alexis Hacker; and his siblings, Edward Nekola (Linda) of Cedar Rapids, Ronald Nekola (Shirley) of Jesup, Diane Hoover of Linn, MO and Linda Fintel (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids.

Memorials will be directed to Mercy's Oldorf Hospice House and Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
