With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verla Mae Schultz of Edgewood, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Miller and Alta Miller (Smock); her husband Gene Schultz; her siblings, LaVaune Feulner, Helen Downey, Jeanette Gibson, Shirley "Pat" Galloway, Homer Miller and Mike Miller, Jr.; and her grandson Sean.
She is survived by: her son Newell Schultz of Gulfport, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Michael and Staci; her great grandchild Marcus; her sister-in-law Mary Lee Farmer of Marion; her close friend Deb Weigel; and her granddaughters, Mica Geistkemper (Josh), Ciara Rave (Spencer) and Tessa Kelchen (Kyle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
