She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hook and Elsie Hook (Brady); her husband Wayne Sauerbry; her daughters, Gayle Leeper and Karyl Sauerbry; her brother Calvin Hook (Garneth); her brother-in-law Dave Nurre; and her close friend Lawrence Moser.
She is survived by: her sons, John Sauerbry of Nokomis and Brad Sauerbry (Judy) of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Lori Jacobson, Shannon Sauerbry (Carrie McNamara), Zach Sauerbry, Cami Benschoter, Carrie Sauerbry, Jesse Sauerbry (Janaya) and Jacob Sauerbry; and her sisters, Kathleen Waterman (Randy) of Manchester and Barb Nurre of Elkader. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
