He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Melvin "Bud", Jane Kubly of Laverne, Mildred Furst of Lakefield and Bob Rusher of South Dakota. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Kubly and Carol Kubly (Rusher) of Edgewood; his wife Sherri Kubly (Paulsen) of Edgewood, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan), Bunting (Lilly) of Dundee, Jesse (Jessica), Hansel (Cooper) of Frederick, Michelle (Jerrad), Goedken, Mitchell (Haley) and Helle; his siblings, Carla Hood (Larry) of Manchester, Chris Moser (Paul) of Edgewood and Curt Kubly (Wanda) of Manchester; his former wife Marilyn Atkinson of Manchester; his parents-in-law, Benay Brys of Epworth and Dale Paulsen of Manchester; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Paulsen (Tina) of East Dubuque, John Loy (Tami) of Glen Haven, Bryan Paulsen (Linda) of Cuba City, Dale L. Paulsen of Manchester and Cynthia L. Kirch-Henderson (Kent) of Queen Creek, Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
