He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Aulwes and Schroeder; his wife Kay Hess; his children, Tim Aulwes of Edgewood, Connie Dugan (Mike) of Garber, Cathy Dugan (Dennis) of Colesburg, Lonnie Aulwes of Strawberry Point, Becky Dugan (Bill) of Garber, Joni Ernst (Chad) of Garber and Brad Aulwes (Jess) of Edgewood; his brother Harold Aulwes (Gloria) of Garber; his daughters, Darla Aulwes and Bobbi Jo Kluesner; his son-in-law Christopher Kluesner; his great grandchild Kenadi Seeley; and his siblings, Bob Aulwes and Betty Phelan. He was also cherished by 37 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, masks are requested at the funeral home.
