She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hulverson and Myra Hulverson (Wells); her husband Reginald "Bud" Gilbert; and her sisters, Lorraine Galbreath, Jewell Chappel, Gayle Biedermann and Evelyn Biedermann.
She is survived by: her sons, Curt Gilbert (Kelly) of Dubuque, Douglas Gilbert (Audrey) of Phoenix and Calvin Gilbert (Kim) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
