He was predeceased by: his parents, George Klosterman and Luetta Klosterman (Schmitt); his siblings, Janice Lammers (Jim), Eileen Sargent and Lawrence "Lary" Klosterman; and his son-in-law Steve Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Klosterman of Edgewood; his children, Richard Klosterman (Sandy) of West Union, Karen Sickels (Scott) of Strawberry Point and Carol Thomas-Schlee (Chris) of Strawberry Point; his sister Ruth Bergan (Mike) of Elkader; and his brother-in-law Dale Sargent of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other family members.
