She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Pitz and Leonetta "Nettie" Pitz (Ries); her husband Tony Helle; her siblings, Gary Pitz and Katherine Hughes (Dave); and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Egloff (Frank), Ivanelle "Toots" Bockenstedt (Cal), Donald Helle (Ardella) and Vernon Helle (Mildred).
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Mescher (Randy) of Edgewood, Tim Helle (Anne) of Austin, Jayne Bobbin (Mark) of Robins, Kathy Johnson (Larry) of Irvine and John Helle of Englewood, Florida; her sister Phyllis Jean Hromadka of Dubuque; and her sister-in-law Elaine Pitz of Dyersville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mark Catholic Church, Edgewood Fire Department, or Edgewood Ambulance Service.
