She was predeceased by: her parents, August Hargrafen and Anna Hargrafen (Handfelt); her husband Art; her son Ron; her grandson Cody Funke; her siblings, Alma Davin (Earl), Berniece Koelker (Llewellyn), Edna McCormick (Charles), Ruth Hargrafen, Vincent Hargrafen (Mary), Urban Hargrafen, Cletus Hargrafen (Grace) and Father John Hargrafen; her siblings-in-law, Ralph Funke (Ida), Ed Funke, Lawrence Funke, Irene Mensen (Edmond), Helen Vaske (Paul), Charlotte Mensen (Arnold), Esther Lechtenburg (Fritz) and Margie Reinert (John); her parents-in-law, Ben and Margaret Funke (Klosterman); and her stepmother-in-law Rose Funke (Fesler).
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Smith (Steve) of St. Anthony, Diane Hansen (Jim) of Toddville, Greg Funke (Valorie) of Manchester, Julie Burkle (Ken) of Manchester, Jeff Funke (Ann) of Greeley, Dan Funke (Joyce) of Petersburg, Carol Knight (Keith) of Nort Port, Susan Panozzo (Paul) of Arvada and Lisa Reid (Bill) of Central City; her daughter-in-law Mary Funke of Manchester; her sister Arlene Kaefring (Fred) of Tipton; and her sisters-in-law, Corrine Hargrafen of Columbus Junction, Lela McCormick of Dubuque and Lou Mae Funke of Manchester. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (205 S Locust St, Edgewood, IA 52042). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mark Cemetery (1051 210th Ave, Edgewood, IA 52042).
