She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Smith and Lillian Smith (Kahler); her children, Mark Schuster and Patricia Butler; her siblings, Leland Smith, Vincent Smith (Rosanne), Pauline Hotek and Dennis Smith (Voya); and her parents-in-law, Francis "Jake" Schuster (Marge), Joseph Schuster, Wilfred Schuster (Betty), Melvin Schuster, Earl Schuster and Lorraine Schuster.
She is survived by: her husband Howard P. Schuster; her children, Randall Schuster (Debbie), Michele McNulty (John) of Ireland, Mary Willadsen (Darrel) of Oregon, WI and Pam Ostwinkle (Tony) of Edgewood; her grandchildren, Erin Gilbertson, Abby Turner, Jill Harron, Samson Butler, Daniel Butler, Frances McNulty, Emma McNulty, Erin Duggan Hoeger, Rachel Mueller, Chelsea Willadsen, Callie Ostwinkle, Lillian Ostwinkle, Elsie Ostwinkle, Sarah Ostwinkle and Benjamin Ostwinkle; her children-in-law, Marie Schuster of Dyersville and Dean Butler of Dubuque; her siblings, Phyllis Schumacher (Bob) and Paul Smith (Judy); and her parents-in-law, Ramona Smith and Bill Hotek. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
