It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Helmrichs (Edgewood, Iowa), born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on September 11, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Helmrichs and Wilma Helmrichs (Cooper); and his siblings, Loraine and Virgil. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Helmrichs of Edgewood; his sons, Roger Helmrichs (Jody) of Dundee, Keith Helmrichs (Toni) of Arvada, Bruce Helmrichs of Elkader, Scott Helmrichs (Jill) of Monona and Todd Helmrichs of Ida Grove; and his sister Barbara Lamprecht (Robert) of Evansdale. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
