He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Helle and Theresia Helle (Nieland); his siblings, Eileen Egloff (Frank), Donald Helle and Vernon Helle (Mildred); and his brother-in-law Cal Bockenstedt.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Helle of Edgewood; his children, Vickie Mescher (Randy) of Edgewood, Tim Helle (Anne) of Austin, Jayne Bobbin (Mark) of Toddville, Kathy Johnson (Larry) of Irvine and John Helle of Englewood, Florida; his sister Toots Bockenstedt of Luxemburg; and his sister-in-law Ardella Helle of Dubuque. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, masks are required at the funeral home and church.
