He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hightower of Eddyville; his children, Joshua Van Zante (Amanda) of Eddyville and Kristin Borcherding (Brian) of Hampton, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb, Sarah Van Zante, Ellie, Lucas, Andrew and Noelle Borcherding; and his siblings, Arlin Van Zante (Donna) of Eddyville and Beth Brostrom (Randy) of Oskaloosa.
