She was predeceased by: her siblings, Janet, Lillyan Williams and John Hynick; her husband Ivan; and her grandson Robert Barnhart Jr..

She is survived by: her parents, John Hynick and Mary Hynick (Sickle); her grandchildren, Danielle French of North Liberty, Amanda Krienert (Carrie) of Waterloo, Holden Barnhart (Nikki) of Oskaloosa, Bailey Barnhart and Boston Barnhart; and also Air Force Lieutenant.
