He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Davis and Helen Davis (Rogers); his daughter Jessica Davis; his father-in-law Louie Ferns; and his sister Virginia Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Davis of Eddyville; his son Jacob "Jake" Davis (Lisa) of Eddyville; his grandchildren, Ethan, Kyle, Nicole and Blake Davis of Eddyville; his mother-in-law Joan Ferns of Eddyville; his sister-in-law Rosie Acord of Oskaloosa; his nephew Zeb Acord of Ames; his friend Jim Roe of Eddyville; and his sister Frances "Fran" Katko (Alan) of Eddyville.
