He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lobberecht and Theola Lobberecht (Maloy); his grandchild Ellie; his siblings, Gary Lobberecht, Steve Lobberecht and Tricia Schlotter; his nephews, Michael Lobberecht, Kyler Schaper and Blake Nichols; his father-in-law Gene Whitsel; and his brother-in-law Richard Hynick.
He is survived by: his wife Cassie Lobberecht of New Sharon; his children, Ethan Lobberecht (Peyton Lobberecht) of Altoona, Ian Lobberecht (Keiffer Griego) of Newton, Adam Lobberecht (Sarah) of University Park and Olivia Kirk (Spencer) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Avery Vine, Gohan Griego, Broly Griego, Venus Griego and Brinley Lobberecht; and his siblings, Shirley Hynick, Fred Lobberecht, Mike Lobberecht (Lori) and Shelly Lobberecht.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eddyville Celebrate Life Center (216 Walnut St, Eddyville, IA 52553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
